Bogie was born here on December 3, 2011. His dam is CH Bellatak Kisses From The Heart (Mandy) and his sire is GCH Bellatak McDreamy (Dreamer) I had been hoping for a male from this litter and I got exactly what I wanted! Bogie is for sure his father's son in that he is so "happy-go-lucky" and never meets a stranger. At times he seems to have a wee bit too much fun! LOL He has not only beautiful movement like his mom and dad, but he also has a luxurious, silky, flowing coat, great front, nice rear (something his father passes on to all his get), beautiful tail set and carriage and great shoulders. He is 10 1/4 inches at the withers, which in my opinion is perfect for a male.
Bogie retired from the show ring in July, 2013. He retired as the #9 Havanese in Breed points and #10 Havanese in All Breed points! Not too bad for a dog that was shown on a limited basis for half the year! I am very proud of Bogie. He will be living his retirement days with a friend close by, so I look forward to being able to use him in my breeding program.
